Convert Your Facebook Page to a Website

Shortcuts, while they may be dangerous when practicing law, can be incredibly helpful when it comes to marketing a law practice.

Building a website can be a major undertaking. That’s why some lawyers still don’t have one up and running. When I come across a quick and easy way to build a website, I like to pass it along.

Unfortunately, quick and easy doesn’t always pan out. The last time I found a website hack, I wrote “Law Firm Website: “Under Construction” to Done in 5 Minutes.” Unfortunately, the company helping lawyers turn their LinkedIn profiles into websites disappeared about five minutes later.

This time, I found a Facebook hack. This company, Pagevamp, helps you turn your law firm Facebook page into a website in about three minutes. See, I’m saving you two additional minutes.

If you have a Facebook page, you can convert it into a website nearly instantly. Pagevamp sets it up with a few clicks, and it’s easy to customize. You’ll get a 14-day free trial to test it out. If you subscribe, you’ll need to pay $12 per month on a yearly plan or $15 month to month.

The setup is simple. You provide the web address of your law firm Facebook page and then click a button to grant Pagevamp permission to control your pages. Within seconds, you’re viewing a preview site that you can edit before you publish. It’s so easy that it’s hard to screw up.

I have no idea how it works, but it makes a nice, simple site. Mine had pages for News, Contact, About, Events, and Gallery. It’s pulling the copy straight out of our Facebook page, and it allows unlimited editing.

The Pagevamp site is simple and clean. It’s responsive and looks as good on the phone and table as it does on the laptop or desktop. I’ve included some screenshots below.

No, this hack isn’t going to replace web developers and designers. But it does a nice job of getting you from “Under Construction” to up and running. Check it out. Hopefully, Pagevamp will stick around.
