Traveling? How Will You Get There?

One of the guys on our team is moving to Buenos Aires for a few months. It’s one of the benefits of our new distributed model. Some of our folks can work from anywhere.

This particular employee is going to spend about three months in Argentina and then head to Thailand.

In planning his location-independent lifestyle, he stumbled across a cool new travel site called Rome2Rio.

The site, which is free, brings lots of travel resources together to help you find the best way to get from here to there.

Rome2Rio is more than an airline search engine. It brings together multiple modes of transportation including planes, trains, ferries, and automobiles. The site brings Google Maps into the search and provides airfares via Kayak.com. This isn’t one of those sites that includes hotels and travel packages. It focuses on getting you there. It compares multiple routes to any destination.

Whether you’re planning to work remotely from another continent or just planning a vacation, Rome2Rio is worth checking out and adding to your browser’s list of bookmarks.
