We’re on to a new topic, and it’s one that often sounds “boring” to some lawyers. In discussing bookkeeping, I made the point of saying that it should be boring. Variable expenses shouldn’t be boring – you should think of them as a weight off of your shoulders, a reduction in stress, and a way to avoid some of the chaos that can afflict our practices.
Today’s assignment is up in your feed. Variable expenses were a huge improvement for my practice, and I go through the benefits I found. It also covers the idea of your “replacement cost”, which is an important concept to understand.
