We’re going into more detail on the financial dashboards today – the leading indicators, p+l, and TTM graphs. Today’s lesson is up and I go through the sample dashboard page by page, so be sure to check yesterday’s assignment for it if you haven’t looked at it yet.

I also want you to keep in mind that not only will you add some graphs to your dashboard that aren’t on the example, but you’ll also remove ones that aren’t important to you or your practice. The whole point of this dashboard is to give you a quick and easy to understand way to keep on top of the metrics you need to be concerned about in your practice. If there’s something that doesn’t make sense to look at on a regular basis due to the way your firm works, then don’t be afraid to ditch it.
