We’re about ready to talk about the specifics of training intake employees and contractors. Before we jump into that, I want to share the curriculum I used at my firm for training. Today’s lesson is up in your feed and it covers what we did each day in the first week of a new intake person’s employment. There is plenty of learning that happens after the first week, but we would start intake employees on a Monday, and have them answering calls on their own by Friday. Friday was also when we made the decision on whether or not the person we had trained was going to be able to do the job, or if we needed to move on to somebody else.
