Good morning.
Getting paid was possibly my favorite part of practicing law. Don’t be bashful – we all like getting paid. It seems simple, and obvious, but the easier we make paying and the more responsive we are to how our clients prefer to pay, the more often it happens.
What you really want to avoid is friction – the roadblocks we sometimes put in front of our clients’ ability to pay. Sometimes this is because we haven’t bothered to shop around for banks or providers in a while, sometimes it’s because we’re unaware that we’re making things harder than they need to be, and sometimes, we just don’t realize that our clients expect the ease of interaction from us that we do when we buy lunch or groceries.
Today’s lesson is up in the feed, and I want to get you thinking about the way you take payments and whether or not you could be making it easier for both you and your clients.
