We mentioned that our pick for a productivity suite for those who need a recommendation is Microsoft 365, largely because of the number of tools included. The down side is that a lot of people are missing out on features they don’t even know they have. I’ve had conversations with quite a few members over the past few months about creating custom solutions for something, only to realize a tool that did what we were after was already included in their 365 subscription.
A big part of getting the most out of technology is taking advantage of what you already have access to and not introducing new moving parts when they’re not necessary.
Today’s lesson is up in your feed and it’s a quick run-through of most of the tools in Microsoft 365 and what they do. I discuss the equivalents in the Google Workspace ecosystem, 3rd party alternatives to most items, and a few Microsoft tools that are available for free without a 365 subscription as well, so if even if you’re not a 365 user, you’ll likely hear about something that might be of interest.
