Here’s how to find out what’s wrong with your website in just 10 minutes. The best part is that it’s free.
First, my tale of woe:
I just watched a 10-minute critique of my family law website. I’m in agony. It was devastating. I stopped breathing during the second minute.
I feel stupid. I feel inept. The review stung like a bee sting in the eye. Ouch.
In minutes, some anonymous person gave me more insight into my website than I could handle.
I had to pause the video and take three breaks before finishing. It was painful.
See Your Site for the First Time—Again
Here’s the thing: this guy, seeing the site for the first time, was able to see things that I can’t see. I’m blind to the issues having looked at the site and worked on it for a long time.
Seeing things from the perspective of a first-time visitor is incredibly different than seeing them from the perspective of site owner. My reviewer had a point of view that matters far more than anything I think. He’s more like a prospective client than me. His opinion matters. My opinion doesn’t.
I took note after note as I watched the video. The insights are powerful, helpful, and useful. I’ll be making some changes.
You can get your review at Peek. It really is free. Of course, the company will try to sell you more stuff later. If your review is as helpful as mine, you’ll probably buy it.
