What’s the Cheapest/Fastest Way to Ship That Package?

Have you ever tried to figure out what it’s going to cost to ship something by FedEx? How about UPS? It’s nearly impossible.

  • Which one is cheaper?
  • Which one is faster?
  • Which one is cheaper when you don’t care whether it’s faster?

These shipping companies are the complete opposite of transparent. How come I can understand language in the U.S. Code, but I can’t figure out how much it costs to ship a 7″ x 9″ x 14″ box that weighs 23 ounces?
